I’m Paola, and I make one-of-one talismanic jewelry by hand from my studio in the Black Forest of Colorado. Before you go any further, I want to give you something.

This guide covers five stones I return to again and again in my work: Carnelian, Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, Black Onyx, and Moonstone. Each one carries its own history and its own use. Some will call to you more than others, and that’s worth paying attention to.
